Just as many people will use social media for fun, so are many others allowing the world know of their worth and works. A typical example is Ghanaian illustrator and fashion designer Papa Oppong.

In NY DJ Live’s (www.nydjlive.com) quest to highlight the young talents in Ghana, we caught up with Papa Oppong who allowed us into his world. We shall therefore run a special series on the works of Papa Oppong.
Papa Oppong BEDIAKO mostly known by friends as Papa Oppong is a 20 years old, born on the 11th of March 1992 to a family of four (4). Starting his education at Alpha Beta in his really early years that’s from kindergarten to class one, his family then moved to a new location compelling him to be enrolled at Queensland International School in Sakumono, Greater Accra where he got his primary and Junior High education.
From Queensland, he continued to Achimota Senior High (2007) where he studied Visual Art, majoring in textiles, Jewellery and literature. From Achimota School, Papa Oppong moved on to Radford University College in 2011 where he is currently studying for a degree in Fashion Design.
