Reports have emerged that Inter Milan are in talks with Olympique Marseille attacker Andre Ayew.
TMW reports that the Italian giants are preparing talks with the 23-year-old’s camp about a summer move to Milan.
It is believed that Inter Milan see the Ghana international as an alternative to Napoli star Marek Hamsik, who has been touted as eventually replacing the departed Wesley Sneijder.
Ayew has been one of the standout players for Marseille this season even though he’s lacking a bit of consistency, he’s highly rated in Europe, having been linked with clubs such as Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Liverpool in the past.
Ayew has caught the eye of the top echelons at Inter following his explosive performances for Marseille and have been following him since last season’s UEFA Champions League where he scored a vital goal against the Nerazzurri.
Marseille will be prepared to do business if a figure of around $22m from clubs interested in the winger arrives at the Stade Velodrome.
Even though Ayew is interested in staying with the French side he has not ruled leaving the former European champions.
He has said in the past: “I am looking forward to what will happen regarding my future. Marseille is my home and I’m happy to be here. But if I have to leave to improve and the club get what they are looking for, who knows? Premier League, Spanish Liga and Serie A are all top leagues and to play there is to play against the best in Europe.”
