Chinese buffet restaurant demands it's waiteresses to wear bikini for work

In what is presumably an attempt to attract more customers, a seafood restaurant in Changsha has started demanding that its waitresses wear bikinis whilst they serve customers, with female customers who arrive at the eatery wearing bikinis themselves being offered free food.

Despite being warmly received by many male customers, others haven’t been too approving.  “Such a restaurant is offending public decency!” said woman named Zou. The restaurant manager claimed that “we want to create an atmosphere for customers as if they’re having food on the beach.”

As a result, 20 of the 50 waitresses employed at the restaurant have resigned due to feeling shy wearing only a bikini while most of the remaining staff have chosen to wear sunglasses in order to avoid being recognized. However, it is still unclear whether the sunglasses are actually all part of the manager’s grand scheme to create a true beach-like environment.
