Former Ghana Airport security boss nabbed in US in drugs related offence

The former Airport Security boss, Solomon Adelaquaye has been arrested in the United States for drug trafficking.

Adelaquaye who is Managing Director of Sohin Security was picked up with three others-two Nigerians and a Columbian for their roles in a drug trafficking syndicate which had been operating in the West Africa sub-region.

The Narcotic Control Board has confirmed the arrest. In a statement the Executive Secretary of NACOB Akrasi Sarpong said the arrest was due to corporation with the Drugs Enforcement Administration (DEA) of the Department of Justice of the United States of America.

The statement named the other arrested suspects as Frank Chima Moudum and Celestine Ofor all Nigerians and Samuel Antonio Pinedu-Rueda, a Columbian
