Chris Attoh leaves Tinsel after 7 years

Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh resigned from the Mnet Africa series: Tinsel. The role of the character, Kwame Mensah will be written out over the next few months and Chris will shoot his last scenes in September.

According to his South African management, WAKA Agency, headed by Rosie Motene, the reason for Chris' resignation is to pursue other career of interests.

“The last seven years on tinsel have been an incredible journey and experience for me. Working with Mnet was phenomenal and it took a lot of deliberation but I have decided to pursue other career of interests”, Chris said.

Chris Attoh, who has been acting for a long while now, produced his first movie Devoted last month.

Sources say the dark-skinned handsome actor was motivated to make his own movie due to the demands by friends and fans who believed he could produce a movie.

Exclusively made for EbonyLife TV, ‘Devoted’ features Jasmine Baroudi, Majid Michel, Gbenro Ajibade, Steve Kojo Johnson, and of course Attoh himself.
