Man raises £1m in memory of wife

According to Daily Star- A man has raised £1million in memory of his wife after she died of skin cancer, reaching his target in just three years.

Elise Roberts was only 37 when she got malignant melanoma in January 2010.She vowed to raise £1m for Christie Hospital, Manchester, but passed away nine months later.

Husband Mark, 41, was helped by hundreds of people whose charity feats included a trek along the Great Wall of China.

Mark said: “Whether they’ve rafted down the Zambezi River or baked cakes, every single person has helped to make this happen for Elise.
