Gyan, who earlier in the week limped off at training with a left thigh strain is set to lead the Black Stars' attack for the tie billed for the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi.
Team Doctor, Baba Adam told GNA Sports “We have done all the necessary examination and observation and I can assure that the injury is not all that serious to rule him out of the encounter”.
The striker's recovery comes as welcoming news for the technical handlers of the team who were sweating over his fitness.
Meanwhile, Kevin Prince Boateng, who skipped training on Wednesday evening following a minor knock has also passed the fitness test with 24 hours to the game.
Boateng returns to international duty after a two-year break following his decision to retire, citing his inability to cope with the physical demands of playing at club and national team levels.
