Gyan is a threat to Egypt- says Coach Bob Bradley

Egypt coach Bob Bradley says Black Stars striker Asamoah Gyan has what it takes to trouble his side when they line-up against Ghana in Tuesday’s World Cup play-off.

Gyan has been in rich vein of form in the qualifiers aside his impeccable scoring statistics at club level in the UAE pro-league.

Bradley told reporters on Saturday when his team arrived in Ghana that his men must keep Gyan at bay to avoid any havoc.

"Gyan is a difficult player because he can be invisible for long periods in a match; he is still fast and strong and at the moment he can cause trouble and that's what he did when he played USA in 2010 World Cup during the extra time which determined the outcome of the game. So we will try and keep him out of our dangerous areas but I know it will be difficult.

According to a footy-ghana.com reporter, Bradley said he believes they can control the game and create chances.

“We understand that and will still try to play a way where we control the game, create chances with the way we move the ball and I think this is something that makes us dangerous."
