Liverpool have completed the signing of Daniel Sturridge from Chelsea for a fee believed to be in the region of £12m.
The 23-year-old becomes the fourth signing of the Brendan Rodgers era, and could make his debut for the club in the Reds’ FA Cup tie against Mansfield on Sunday.
Sturridge, who had made just one league start for Chelsea this season, revealed his delight to have moved to a club as huge as Liverpool, and hopes to remain at Anfield for a "long time".
