Future will have to pay out a monthly child support fee after a court ordered DNA test proved that he was the father of a 10 year-old son. The rapper took the test as a result of a lawsuit filed by a woman, named Jessica Smith, last year.
Future will have to pay $1,662 per month to support the child and he covered the cost of the $899 DNA test, according to TMZ. Future also agreed that he will legally recognize the child as his own.
Smith’s claim states that she was impregnated by Future back in 2001, but the rapper apparently needed some hard evidence before he’d agree to pay child support.
The test apparently demonstrates with 99.9 percent certainty that Future is the father, and the rapper came to an agreement with Smith which required only a judge’s signature.
