American Idol winner Martha Heredia Arrested for Smuggling Heroin

Latin American Idol winner Martha Heredia has been arrested after attempting to smuggle heroin onto an airplane bound for New York.

Heredia was caught in the Dominican Republic with 2.9 pounds (1.3 kilograms) of heroin stuffed into her platform shoes which were inside of her suitcase. The 22-year-old was crowned the winner of American Idol in 2009. So sad. More pictures after the cut..see more photos after cut...
