GNPC Urges Black Stars To Focus On Brazil 2014 World Cup Qualifiers

The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, (GNPC) headline sponsor of the senior national football team, the Black Stars, has urged the team to pick themselves up and focus on succeeding at the World Cup qualifying campaign, which resumes in March.

A statement from the GNPC said, “failure often presents an opportunity for critical self-assessment and improvement, and we trust that the technical team and players will commit themselves to make the necessary adjustments and work even harder to ensure that Ghana not only qualifies for the World Cup in 2014, but also outperforms at the event as we have done previously.”

GNPC encourages Ghanaians to continue to support the Black Stars and assures the team of its continued support going forward.
