GHANA POLITICS : Jake Should Account For The GHc100,000 Cheque- Ken Agyapong

Opposition Party-NPP firebrand and MP for Assin North, Kennedy Agyapong has accused the Chairman of the Party, Jake Obetsebi Lamptey of “stealing” GHc100,000 belonging to the party.

Ken Agyapong who made this revelation whiles reacting to a facebook status posted by the Special Aide to the NPP Chairman, indicated that he personally handed over a cheque for GHc100,000 to the NPP Chair and his aide to pay for the filling fees of the NPP parliamentary aspirants.

Bryan Acheampong, Special Aide to the NPP Chairman had earlier shared on his Facebook Wall that the Assin North MP had built a constituency in the party for himself with his hawkish style of politics.
“Ken destroyed our gains in the Volta region and decreased our votes in the Ga communities which in turn cost us the 2012 elections.
Its high time Ken Agyapong understands that he has built a constituency in the party for himself with his hawkish style of politics and must choose between being an asset or a liability for our dear party because you can’t give out hundreds with your right hand and take back thousands with your left.”

Ken Agyapong who responded to the post on Neat FM, called the Bryan Acheampong a thief and asked that he and his boss(Jake), accounts for the GHc100,000 cheque he handed over to them.
“..he is a stupid boy, he is a thief. If Bryan Acheampong is the one who put that thing there, then ask him where the GHC100,000 contribution that was supposed to pay for the filling fees of the MPs go? He and his master received the money. I’ll give him a show down.
Bryan Acheampong is a first class thief, he squandered that money with Jake.”

Neither Jake Obetsebi Lamptey nor his aide, Bryan Acheampong have responded to the allegation.
