Pastor TB Joshua takes over Wassaman FC

Ghanaian Football Administrator, Moses Parker Armah has confirmed the take-over of Division One side Wassaman FC by the General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua.

The Medeama President who owns majority shares in Wassaman has confirmed the take-over could be completed by the close of week after meeting with the renowned Nigerian prophet.

“I’m meeting him within the week. I have given it to him after he expressed interest in getting a football club to manage because of his great love for the game. The name will be change to Emmanuel Stars FC as he has proposed. It has been accepted already,” Parker confirmed enthusiastically.

This is the second time TB Joshua has attempted to get a stake in Ghana football, but in the first instance, an attempt to set up a second division side fell through.

The SCOAN overseer is widely known as a seer who sees into the future and he has made predictions on football matches on the continent.
