"@KimKardashian is looking to make it back onto the cover of Playboy, very exciting," Hugh Hefner tweeted-then-deleted, but not before the retweeters got a hold of the sentiment.
While there's no official word yet of talks between the two, Playboy's December 2007 cover girl was just heard saying on Sunday's episode Keeping Up With the Kardashians that she was ready to put those who over-scrutinized her pregnancy weight gain in their place.
"I just wanna come out to the world, like, naked and be, like," the new mom told sisters Khloé and Kourtney, raising both middle fingers for effect, "‘I look so hot. I'm back. You all called me a whale, Shamu, a cow...
"When I came back from the hospital," Kim added, "the first thing I did was go look at my vag in the mirror. It looks better-looking than before."
Kim, who perhaps has reconsidered since telling Harper's Bazaar in 2010 that she was "uncomfortable" posing for Playboy, also said on camera in an episode taped while she was still pregnant: "As soon as I pop this thing out, I want to do Playboy or some nude shoot."
Well, Hef is apparently all for it. And we doubt that Playboy readers would argue much, either.
